Alan Rae's well-researched tome, Lewis Chitengwa: A Gentleman's Game, is a fitting tribute to a man whose short life was both inspirational and tragic at the same time. In looking back at all the obstacles this young man had to overcome and the many achievements he garned in such a short time, one is left wondering what more Lewis could have achieved if only he is with us for a while longer.

What a wonderful tribute and accomplishment. Congratulations! I can count myself among those lucky ones
whose life Lewis graced ... even if it was with just a meeting or two. I'm sure Lewis is smiling with pride today
as this amazing book is being launched.

Abs and Lewis played together every time when Lewis was visiting Zimbabwe at Wingate Golf Course. An outstanding Gentleman, and like his father, a true Professional. Abs golf teacher was Lewis's father, Mr Murizdo. The book is a true reflection and factually correct in all its aspects. Therein lies a common bond and mutual respect. If you may permit me, here is a link that will further add to this wonderful tome of Lewis’s Legacy. The link: www.sochaczewski.com/ARTafricagolf.html. A young life so tragically robbed from us all. May he rest in Peace.
