I knew Lewis from early on in life here in Zimbabwe. One could not say we were close but his sisters, brothers and we acquaintances. His family was renowned for its love of golfing and early on in high school regular announcements would be made of one of the Chitengwa's having won a cup or tournament. Today I sit reading our local paper and there lies an appeal for his young brother to travel to the US for a junior golfing tournament, the very one his brother beat Tiger many years ago, but sadly I now learn that Lewis is no more. I struggle to come to terms with this as in my mind he was obviously overseas making a name for himself (not being an advent sports person). I read several obituaries and here I add my own. Lewis, go well fellow Zimbabwean, it is with pride that you flew Zimbabwe high in the golfing arena. You proved to remain in our cultured, well mannered and did not bring disrepute.
